The JiMiller Band is a four member band that plays some of the best new music in the Midwest, with Jim's resonating vocals and jazz-infused lead guitar, Dave Blackerby on bass, Steve "Nev" Scheff on keyboards and Brian "Bagel" Golenberg on drums.
The JiMiller Band's style is as varied as their influences; JiMiller "blends together blues, country, cajun, old rock 'n' roll, jazz and bluegrass into a musical Americana that is both fresh and timeless" in their everlasting sets. However, the band is best known for its freeform improvisation rock that was made famous by The Grateful Dead and Allman Brothers.

Originally from New York City, violinist Reed Simon came to Cleveland to study at the Cleveland Institute of Art in the late 70's. A first class artist, Reed Simon is also and accomplished musician and has been a steady presence on the Northeast Ohio jazz scene for several years now. Over the years Simon has worked with many of Cleveland's top jazz musicians including masters such as Bill Gidney and Hank Geer. He has also worked with national artists including guitarist Tony Mattolla, and vibraphonist Gary Burton. A career highlight occurred in the mid 1990's when Reed played Severance Hall as a special guest on a Duke Ellington program that featured several members of the Ellington band. Reed Simon continues to play regularly in the Cleveland area at top clubs and concert venues.
